Don’t forget – we’re giving away copies of Windows 7 during our Get On the Bus events in each city. But you have to get up early if you want to beat the crowds – we had one attendee arrive at 5:30am to be the very first in line at the Philly event! Only the first 50 in line are eligible to receive a free copy of Windows 7.

Disclaimer:
*To receive your free copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, be one of the first 50 people who are US residents (includes D of C) or Canada 18+ to arrive at a Microsoft Get On the Bus Tour afternoon event (second Washington D.C. event scheduled for May 28, excluded). 50 copies of the software title are available. Limit one gift per person. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other offer. This offer ends on June 4, 2010 while supplies last, and is not redeemable for cash. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the recipient. There is no shipment of your gift – all gifts will be distributed onsite.

*GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES: Microsoft is committed to complying with government gift and ethics rules and therefore government employees (including military and employees of public education institutions) are not eligible.

  1. In NYC on Tuesday, you said you would mail the software to me. Is that still the case? If so, when could I expect it?

  2. When will you be in Dallas, TX? I live in Plano, just NE of Dallas and would love to come to the bus to learn more about Office 2007 and get a free copy of Windows 7. I’ll be one of those who get there at 5:30 in the morning to get a free copy! As well as drive the 30 minutes it would take to get to Downtown Dallas, but I’m hoping you’ll be in the Northeast Part of Dallas, closer to Plano.
Is there any way a home user can get a free copy of Windows 7 and possible Office 2007?

  4. Yup that was me waiting first in line at the Philly event at 5:30 in the morning… The event was fantastic and well worth it… I hope Microsoft has one of these events for Windows 8. Thanks for remembering me Melissa… Keep up the good work!
